DOES THE PROFESSIONALIZATION OF TEACHING HAVE AN IMPACT ON YOU AS A FUTURE TEACHER ?

Professionalization means social process by which any trade or occupation transforms itself into a true "profession of the highest integrity and competence.

This process tends to involve establishing acceptable qualifications, a professional body or association to oversee the conduct of members of the profession and some degree of demarcation of the qualified from unqualified amateurs.

A VERY BIG YES !! Because I strongly agree of that .There are lot of teachers I have encountered that really don’t know how to teach maybe because some of them teaching is not their passion or they don’t have a potential when in terms of teaching but they still pass.

As a student of BEED or as a future teacher professionalization of teaching ,helps me/students study well in order to be a good and effective teacher and able to pass the standard qualification ,and requirements. Personality of a teacher is also important ,a teacher needs to be authoritative but in a way that makes them likeable.Teaching lessons is no longer enough for students ,they spend their time in classroom so they are looking for different things and if a teacher is not professional, how will a student feel that they are confident enough in the person who teaches them to confide in serious issues.?

Since Im still a student I will be able to study more how to be an effective teacher and professional in terms of teaching .
